AView & AEdit for Syllable updates ( 18/10/02 ) |
New updates of AView and AEdit for Syllable are now available. This new version of AView handles an input filename, and the filerequester is created only once (need less memory). The AEdit default font now uses the default font defined in the preferences (no more hardcoded fonts). You can find source and binaries here. |

The author of AtheOS gived the reasons of the pause in the development of the system : he wanted to make a break and his development machine is broken. We can learn that "When I'm done with the [flying] license I will probably get the PC going again and start working on AtheOS. But until then nothing will happen, so don't hold your breath :)". Nice to heard news from him. |

POVRay 3.5 is out ( 02/08/02 ) |
I finally made POVRay 3.5 compile under AtheOS. I've also corrected the HTML docs so that they can be viewed under AtheOS (a JavaScript file was missing). POV Ray is available on Kamidake, the HTML documentation is in a different download file. |

ABrowse improvment ( 29/07/02 ) |
ABrowse compiles on my system. It was a bit tricky but *yes* I've done it. I have added the "file requester" feature to load easily an HTML document. |

Actually the site is divided into 5 sections : this one, the updates; the devcentral section for useful information to developpers; the hints section for a general purpose help, the faq one to reply to the frequently asked questions, and the links section to get atheos related sites. |

All Atheos is a new site that provides usefull information about the Atheos Operating System. You can browse the original web site at www.atheos.cx if you don't know about Atheos. I would like to point out that it's an enthousiast OS, it's not intended to replace any OS or to conquer the world ;-) Have fun with it. |
